Interns: Invigorating, Inspiring, and so Important

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Working with interns may sound like a lot of work. We’re here to tell you that it is, but it’s work that pays off in big ways. Learn how the City of Hillsboro, along with Hillsboro Public Library, has employed interns to not only further public services, but also to provide meaningful opportunities to engage people from diverse backgrounds, including students -- high school and other levels -- as well as more experienced community members. You’ll leave with ideas for how you, too, can find and use interns and inject new ideas into your workplaces.
